OUR PTA IS OUTSTANDING!  

We are proud to share that Northwood PTA has been recognized by Texas PTA for Family & Student Engagement and for Advocacy!

The Family & Student Engagement Impact award recognizes our dedicated efforts to strengthen family engagement, support students, and lead with heart through creativity and commitment to the entire school community. 

The Advocacy Impact designation is awarded to Northwood PTA to celebrate the exceptional dedication of our PTA members and families who work together to engage, empower, and advocate for all children.

We are incredibly proud of our school community and grateful for everyone who helps make every child’s potential a reality. Thank you for everything you do for our Northwood community and if you are interested in getting involved for the first time or getting more involved in the coming school year, we'd love to have you!

All parents, grandparent, aunts, uncles, friends, and neighbors are welcome and encouraged to get involved with our PTA! We have volunteer opportunities ranging from full year committee chair positions to single day events and everything in between. We believe that PTA is as much about building community as it is about supporting our school and we want to make sure everyone has an opportunity to be involved in the way that is best for them. pta art education

Did you know that PTA runs the art education program at Northwood? We rely on volunteers to assist our art teachers with the lessons. You do not need to be an artist to help out! Volunteering with the art program is a great way to help in the classroom and enrich our students' education. Check our calendar to find upcoming art eduction dates. Volunteers must have completed a background check through NEISD. Email volunteer@northwoodpta.org for more information.
